If SAS does not start, the SAS log can contain error messages that explain the error. Any error message that SAS issues before the SAS log is initialized is written to the MSG window, if it is available, or to the SAS console log, which is a Windows file. Under Windows the SAS console log is typically located in c: Users user-ID AppData. You can obtain the location and for the SAS console log from the application event log. To open the application event log, submit eventvwr from the Run dialog box and click Application.

By geth, I am assuming you mean. To run geth in a single command window, simply use something like e.g. Geth help To spawn geth in a new command window (not the same window as the batch file), prefix your command with cmd /k start e.g. Cmd /k start geth help Notes. help is obviously an example and can be any options you wish.

Re: Can we create a batch file to run Java program? 807603 Nov 20, 2007 5:00 AM ( in response to 807603 ) venu_gopal wrote: Hi, yes we can create a bacth file for a java program. I think this is the way to create: but i too got some problem with this.
If your program isn't registered in your Path, you will need to use its full location instead e.g. C: some path geth.exe. As @LPChip points out in the comments, to avoid issues, do not name your batch file exactly the same as the executable (i.e. Don't use geth.bat).
